Beergarita

We’re keeping cool on this hot July day and looking forward to spending another weekend making memories with family and friends.

This week’s Thirsty Thursday features Ali’s famous Beergarita (with a patriotic twist…hey, we’re still celebrating!) from our Project Manager, Ali Grinde.

Nothing’s easier than mixing up a pitcher of refreshing Beergaritas. No blender needed! Prevents scurvy, too! The perfect lazy day, lounging at the end of the dock kind of drink… ahhhhhh… we love Summer.

BEERGARITA

Recipe:

  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade, slightly thawed
  • 12 ounces of water
  • 6 ounces of tequila
  • 12 ounces of light beer
  • Ice
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Directions:

  1. Mix limeade, tequila, water and beer into a large pitcher.
  2. Stir until blended and limeade has melted.
  3. Pour over ice and garnish with a wedge of lime.

Makes 4 servings or one really large beergarita.
